Merja suggests to insert "a study of the schoolyard" in the questionnaire: 
 

A study of the schoolyard

  This study can be inserted under the title "My School":  
1. Form search groups  
2. Divide the schoolyard into studyareas  
3. Each groups looks for the trash in their area  
4. Put the tarsh collected in one place  
5. Divide the trash into the following categories:  
  - for the compost  
  - to be recycled  
  - for the garbage dump  
  - hazardous wastes  
I think it will be an interesting experience for the pupils.  
Pupils in each partnerschool can work on the questionnaire during this  
period, so we can have material to compare and share when we meet in  
Reykjavik.
