2003 Max Brand Prize

Max Brand, composer and electronics pioneer (1896-1980), stipulated in his will that the future proceeds from performances of his works be used to fund a prize for young contemporary composers in the field of electroacoustics und expanded media.

The winners will be presented on April 26, 2003 as part of "moving patterns - a week-long program of electronic music" at the Austrian Cultural Forum in New York.
