nachdem die letzten kurse eher anwenderInnenorientiert waren (geeklog, CMS, grafikbearbeitung und layout, etc..) gibt es demnaechst wieder mal einen eher grundlagenorientierten kurs. bitte an eure bezirksorganisationen und potentiell interessentInnen weiterleiten. bitte um anmeldung wer kommen will.
commandline und sysadmin grundlagen
3. bis 4. März Linux Kurs Commandline und Sysadmin Grundlagen. jeweils sa/sa 13-18 uhr, voraussichtlich: Lichtensteinstrasse 123
ist fuer alle interessant die mit ihrem linux etwas meht machen wollen und die volle leistungsfaehigkeit der kommandozeilenoberflaeche nutzen wollen. der kurs ist damit sowohl fuer einsteigerInnen als auch fortgeschrittene interessant. wichtig sind die grundlagen auch fuer alle die daheim oder am privaten laptop ein eigenes linux system haben und dieses administrieren muessen. interessant auch fuer jene die die grundlagen der server administration kennen lernen wollen.

command line grundlagen:
* shell oeffnen im X, console * einfache befehle. (cal, fortune, dict, ls, cp, mv, df, finger, who, date, ..) * tab completion, shell history * befehle mit parametern und optionen * files anlegen * editoren: joe, jed, vi, nano * pipes, less, more, umleitung von/in files, stdout vs stderr * man * command line subsitutionn * environment variablen * alias * bashrc und bashprofile
filesystem layout:
* standard layout / /etc /var/ /home/ * absolute vs. relative pfade * home verzeichniss. tilde. hidden files: ls -a * ln * find und locate * mount und umount
remote arbeiten, netzwerk basics:
