Ich finde viele Filme laus diesem (nur kurzen) Filmfestival sehr interessant, vor allem aber die Filme aus Afghanistan.

Der Film gibt einen intimen Einblick in das Leben junger Mädchen, aufgewachsen während der Zeit der Taliban und nun auf dem Weg in eine eigene Zukunft. Frauenfußball ist für sie eine der Möglichkeiten, Selbstbewusstsein zu entwickeln. Trotz der positiven Veränderungen leiden die Mädchen auch heute noch unter den unsicheren Verhältnissen und gesellschaftlichen Repressionen (die Dokumentation enthält Gewaltszenen aus den Zeiten der Talibanherrschaft).
