Open Air Filmvorführung mit Biogrill
anlässlich des "Europäischen Tages des Widerstandes gegen genmanipulierte Pflanzen"

Ausgehend von Attac Frankreich wurde der 18. Juni 2005 zum "Europäischen Tag des Widerstandes gegen genmanipulierte Pflanzen" (GVOs) ausgerufen. In ganz Europa finden an diesem Tag Kundgebungen gegen GVOs statt. GenAttac macht in Wien mit einer Open Air Filmvorführung und Biogrill (mit Schafsfleisch vom Biobauern) auf die Bedeutung einer gentechnikfreien Landwirtschaft für die Konsumenten aufmerksam.

GVOs und die damit untrennbar verbundenen Patentrechte stellen ein Instrument dar, die Vormachtstellung einiger weniger multinationaler Konzerne in der Nahrungsmittelproduktion auszuweiten, deren Interessen nicht nur die Umwelt gefährden, sondern auch die Gesundheit und Interessen der Bevölkerung missachten. Wir wollen am 18. Juni die regionale Versorgung durch die bäuerliche Landwirtschaft unterstützen und unseren Widerstand gegen GVOs bekräftigen.
