Lehren aus der Krise: Wie linke Kritiker den Kapitalismus krisenfest & gerecht machen wollen
Diskussion am Mittwoch 9. September 19:00 Uhr Cafe 7stern, Siebensterngasse 31, 1070 Wien
* Die Krise: Eine gute Gelegenheit, die Heimat besser kennen zu lernen. Voller Sehnsucht, der Kapitalismus möge wieder Wachstum produzieren, interessiert sich aber kaum jemand dafür, was für eine feine Wirtschaft da – auch gerade in der Krise! – funktioniert. Auf ihre Weise eben: Eine Wirtschaft, in der das Arbeiten zurückgefahren wird und die Armut wächst, weil es zu viele Autos und Fluglinien und US-amerikanische Einfamilienhäuser gibt – und deswegen die Kalkulationen diverser Kapitalbesitzer nicht mehr aufgehen! Gearbeitet wird, wenn die wirklichen Besitzer der Arbeitsplätze davon profitieren – wenn nicht, werden die Kosten für die unrentablen Arbeitskräfte eingespart.
Eine Wirtschaft, in der jedes Geld bis zu den Spargroschen der normalen Leute längst als ein Teil des Finanzkapitals unterwegs ist und sich vermehren muss, mit der schönen Perspektive, dass auch das Ersparte und die Lebensversicherung kaputt gehen, wenn die Banken ihre Spekulationen nicht mehr hinkriegen.
Eine Wirtschaft, in der keine Branche so „systemrelevant“ ist wie die Banken: Jede Regierung, die das noch kann, setzt mit ungewissem Ausgang ihre ganze Macht über das Geld ein und aufs Spiel, um den wertlosen „giftigen“ Wertpapieren den Offenbarungseid zu ersparen! Spinner von liberal bis rechts halten das für eine Tendenz zum „Sozialismus“.
Eine Weltwirtschaft, in der die Stellung der Nationen daran hängt, ob sie die Macht aufbieten können, um mit ihren Banken den Reichtum der Nation, also ihre eigenen ökonomischen Potenzen zu erhalten. Krisen sind Zeiten der ökonomischen und politischen Machtverschiebungen. Jede Regierung tut alles, damit „wir“ „gestärkt“ und „als Gewinner“ aus der Krise hervorgehen.
Eine Weltwirtschaft, in der die Völker mit den fälligen Opfern für die Anstrengungen der Nationen in der Krisenkonkurrenz haften. Nach den Rettungsversuchen des Finanzkapitals durch die „explodierenden“ Staatsschulden steht die „Sanierung“ der Staatshaushalte an; die passende Mischung aus Steuererhöhungen und Einsparungen in den nicht so „systemrelevanten“ Bereichen Soziales, Gesundheit, Bildung etc. wird sich finden. Die Medien führen in vorauseilendem Gehorsam schon Kampagnen gegen die aktuellen Sozialschädlinge: Pensionisten, Lehrer, Beamte usw.
* Während alle nahtlosen Parteigänger des „vernünftigsten aller Wirtschaftssysteme“ mit dem Stichwort „Gier“, mit der Anprangerung einer „Entgleisung“ der Figuren aus der Finanzszene den Kapitalismus weltanschaulich saniert haben, längst bevor es praktisch wieder in Schwung kommt, kennen Linke eine Notwendigkeit der Krise und bringen es dabei zu vernichtenden Urteilen: „Schon Marx und Engels haben in ihren Untersuchungen eindrucksvoll dargelegt, wie die profane Logik des Kapitalismus zu Hunger, Ausbeutung und Unterdrückung führt, Armut produziert und verstärkt. … eine Krise wie aus einem marxistischen Lehrbuch …“ (KPÖ- Bundesausschuss) Die Abneigung gegen „komplizierte Finanzprodukte“ bis hin zur Forderung nach deren Verbot lebt allerdings von der Wertschätzung der Ausbeutung in der neuerdings auch von links so gelobten „Realwirtschaft“. Eigenartig, denn es ist durchaus bekannt, dass in dieser Abteilung mit der Benutzung von Arbeitskräften und dem Verkauf der Produkte derselbe Zweck verfolgt wird wie im Finanzsektor – aus Geld soll mehr Geld werden. Und nur weil die produktiven Kapitalisten in ihrer immensen Gier und Maßlosigkeit darauf bestehen, mit viel mehr Kapital zu wirtschaften, als sie schon aus ihren Belegschaften herausgeholt haben, können Banken mit ihren Finanzierungsangeboten landen bzw. einem Betrieb die Finanzierung abdrehen, wenn die Aussichten auf Profit schlecht stehen. Wenn Linke zur Kenntnis nehmen, dass die Staaten ohne Umstände viele „Milliarden für die Banken“ mobilisieren, aber nichts für die Armen, nehmen sie das nicht als eindeutige Auskunft darüber, worauf es demokratisch gewählten Machthabern ankommt, und zwar überall. Die bekennen sich damit offensiv zu einer Wahrheit ihres Systems: Der Kredit in allen seinen Formen ist unverzichtbares Lebensmittel des Kapitalismus und Motor seines Wachstums. Mit dessen Rettung will jeder Staat seine eigene Kreditmacht retten, und das verschärft noch einmal den ohnehin notorisch sparsamen Umgang mit den Mitteln für die „sozial Schwachen“. Wenn Globalisierungskritiker erläutern, was statt dieser „Bevorzugung“ der Banken fällig wäre, ist eine beachtliche Ignoranz gegenüber den Eigenarten des kapitalistischen Reichtums am Werk, die sich gerade so unübersehbar geltend machen: Angesichts dessen, dass es so immens viel Geld gibt, wäre doch genug für alle da! Dass Geld nicht für beliebige Zwecke zur Verfügung steht, dass es selbst einen Zweck hat, dass es sich nämlich verwerten, wachsen muss und sich so wie jetzt entwertet, wenn ihm das nicht gelingt – das haben diese Kapitalismusverbesserer allerdings auch entdeckt. Geld für „Investitionen und Konsum“ wären die bessere Wachstumsstrategie, meinen sie. Aber welche Investition ist denn unterblieben, weil das Geld „statt dessen“ auf den Finanzmärkten gelandet ist? In der Autoindustrie samt Lieferanten, im Maschinenbau, in der Papierindustrie und in diverse Fluglinien ist eindeutig zuviel investiert worden, natürlich auf Kredit – ein Kapital, das jetzt vernichtet wird. Die Banken finanzieren in ihrer „Gier“ doch alles, was Profit verspricht, und ab und an kreditieren sie mehr als die Realwirtschaft verkraftet! Die Einkommen der Beschäftigten und deren Konsum, die stehen hingegen ganz eindeutig der „hohen Realrendite“ entgegen, von der attac schwärmt: „Geld gibt es nach mehr als 50 Jahren ununterbrochenem Wirtschaftswachstum in Hülle und Fülle. Es ist unfair und für die Volkswirtschaft schädlich, dass sich dieser Reichtum in wenigen Händen konzentriert (10 Prozent besitzen in Österreich zwei Drittel des gesamten Vermögens). Es wird nicht für Investitionen und Konsum ausgegeben, was die Beschäftigung erhöhen würde. Statt dessen wird es auf die Finanzmärkte geleitet, wo es nach hohen Renditen sucht und tendenziell zu Instabilitäten, weniger Investitionen und weniger Beschäftigung führt. Eine ökonomisch sinnvolle und sozial gerechte Finanz-, Geld- und Steuerpolitik sollte daher für Umverteilung von oben nach unten, flächendeckend günstige Kredite, hohe Realrenditen und -einkommen und niedrige Finanzrenditen sorgen.“ (attac, Forderungen zum Thema „Finanzmärkte“)
* Da enteignet sich die Bourgeoisie in gigantischem Ausmaß gerade selbst, muss vom Staat aufgefangen werden – und was fällt der bekannten Kapitalismuskritikerin Sarah Wagenknecht ein? „Ein schlüssiges Gegenkonzept zum Kapitalismus gibt es nicht“; laut SPIEGEL, 11.5.09. Ja dann! Der Kapitalismus mag Scheiße sein, aber was würden wir ohne ihn bloß machen? Wenn der Kapitalismus sich selbst an die Wand fährt, geht damit doch die einzige Wirtschaft kaputt, die es gibt! Einer von der französischen LCR entdeckt, dass Lohnabhängige ohne ein flottes (Finanz)Kapital ganz schön aufgeschmissen sind: „Auf kurze Sicht haben die Lohnabhängigen von einem Zusammenbruch des Finanzsystems nichts zu gewinnen, denn das würde das Ende des Kredits bedeuten. Und das Ende des Kredits bedeutet die Unmöglichkeit, die realen Aktivitäten der Produktion von Gütern und von Dienstleistungen zu finanzieren … Es gibt daher keinen prinzipiellen Grund, sich der Rettung der Banken zu widersetzen“ – so der revolutionäre Kommunist Durand in der „Jungen Welt“, 29.10.08. Nun, auch auf lange Sicht haben alle Lohn-Abhängigen, die es unbedingt bleiben wollen, von einem Zusammenbruch des Finanzsystems nichts zu gewinnen – die Frage ist doch, was haben sie von einem auf ihre Kosten funktionierenden und von einem auf ihre Kosten geretteten Kapitalismus zu erwarten!
Aber nachdem die normalen Leute nun einmal zu ihrem Schaden vom Kapital abhängen und Alternativen einfach nicht angeboten werden, dann folgt daraus offenbar, dass immerhin der Kapitalismus die adäquate Alternative zu sich selbst sein muss! Indem das Kapital mit seiner „Logik“ seine globalen „Handlungsspielräume“ nutzt, erzeugt es sehr unterschiedliche „Welten“, das muss gerade von Linken endlich mal betont werden. Keiner braucht am Kapitalismus grundsätzlich zu verzweifeln! Mitten im Kapitalismus ist ein anderer Kapitalismus möglich, den es sogar schon gibt: „Auch im Kapitalismus gibt es Handlungsspielräume … Auf die Ursachen und wirklichen Hintergründe der Misere hinzuweisen bedeutet für Linke und MarxistInnen zugleich, aufzuzeigen, dass selbst innerhalb der kapitalistischen Logik unterschiedliche Lebenswelten für Milliarden Menschen auf dem Globus machbar sind. Zwischen den arbeits-, sozial- und pensionsrechtlichen Systemen der USA, der skandinavischen Ländern oder z.B. Österreich bestehen riesengroße Unterschiede … Zwischen der Situation in europäischen Staaten und der Situation in ‘Dritte-Welt-Ländern’ klaffen, obwohl in allen Ländern die kapitalistische Logik (in erster bzw. letzter Instanz) letztlich bestimmend ist, Welten.“ (KPÖ-Bundesausschuss zu „Börsencrash, Finanzmarktkrise und die Folgen“, November 08)
Das „Argument“ kennt jeder, der sich mal über Schönheiten des europäischen Kapitalismus beschwert hat: Man möge froh und dankbar sein, weil es hier nicht so zugeht wie in den Hungerländern im Süden – und deswegen die Schnauze halten! Auch von links kann so der Kapitalismus gewürdigt werden, wie man sieht. Die Pleitewelle geht also weiter: Nach dem Finanzdebakel und dem Einbruch der „Realwirtschaft“ ist der ideologische Bankrott dieser „marxistischen“ Linken zu bilanzieren.
