moving politics. Der politische Dokumentarfilm zwischen sozialer
Bestandsaufnahme, Intervention und Repräsentation

Politische Dokumentation impliziert eine aktive Haltung der
Filmemacherin/des Filmemachers,
einen Anspruch gesellschaftliche Missstände und Fehlentwicklungen
aufzuzeigen und zu verändern.
Film, Fernsehen oder Video unterschiedliche Medien werden nutzbar
gemacht um einen
filmischen Blick über den Tellerrand zu werfen. Der Versuch wird
unternommen das eigene
Verständnis von Wirklichkeit filmisch zu gestalten und mit einer
politischen,
gesellschaftskritischen und/oder feministischen Aussage zu verknüpfen.
Wie weit kann der Dokumentarfilm Einfluss auf die verschiedenen Realitäten
des Publikums nehmen?
Inwiefern ist er lediglich Bestandsaufnahme der jeweiligen sozialen
Zustände
oder erhebt er Anspruch auf Intervention?
Reaktionäres politisches Klima ist sowohl Nährboden für subversive
filmische Dokumentation
als auch Hindernis für öffentliche Kritik und die kreative Entfaltung der
KünstlerInnen.

unkommerziell und politisch zu agieren?
